The Sweetest Thing.
We blog so often about the moments when you want to pull your hair out as a mom, but today hasn't been one of those days. Today has been one of those days when you feel good about being a mom, and not only do you feel good, but you truly enjoy it. I got up this morning and had my breakfast before any of the girls were up and finished cleaning the house for the appraiser to come by and have a look. Savannah asked me if I would please give her a haircut today, so I did. The cuts turned out cute. (I'll post pics later). But, cuter than the cuts, were the girls reactions. They admired themselves in the mirror, combing their hair, and twirling around, and asking if they looked pretty; then this afternoon as Savannah and Karennah were rolling out cookie dough together, Savannah said to Karennah, "Your hair looks so be-u-tiful like that," and Karennah said, "Thank you, so does yours!" Ah, how sweet! And they got along all afternoon; I was thankful that I have the job of rearing this precious sweet baby girls. (Emmah and Jennah slept through the cookie making). The older two girls also sat attentively while we completed a Bible study that went very well too, so I feel like I accomplished a lot today. It was good.

I wish I was having one of those days. I'm having one of the crying days where you convince yourself that you're the worst mom in the world. I wish there were more sweet days.
That's why I wrote it because we all wish there were more sweet days.
