There's no such thing as an overnight success.

I've been pondering this quotation lately. In another way, a tree cannot bear fruit overnight. To accomplish anything in life, we must accept that we are working within a time frame. I am learning this lesson in my life right now. If you know me, you probably know I expect a lot out of myself and I want it to happen NOW! Patience is not my strong point, but I am learning a valuable lesson, which is to be more patient with myself. I have learned this lesson in many ways lately: through nursing my forth baby girl, through learning to manage housework, through selling another home, through rearing three other girls... We encounter great work and it takes time; we encounter problems that cannot be fixed overnight. We cannot expect to teach our children everything they need to know in a day, week, month, or year. It is a process, and we must remember that the results won't fully be seen any time soon. So work hard and accept that nothing worthwhile is easy and good work is a lifetime acheivement.
